Andelyn and Brett have to be the most dynamic duo ever. Up for anything at any time, dancing through life to their own beat, and completely unashamed. All that, and they’re kind, welcoming, and you just want to be their friend. It’s what I love most about my couples – the spirit of hospitality. Andelyn and Brett chose Pippin Hill for their venue after searching the entirety of the Virginia mountains for JUST the spot. They wanted mountain views and a good rain plan. Good thing, because that weekend was supposed to be a washout. And it kind of was! Andelyn was totally cool because she loved the venue’s rain plan just as much as the sunny plan. And the misty mountain views weren’t too bad either…

I’m not sure what to highlight and direct your attention to more – the “family effort” in putting this day together, the impeccable “Nashville meets Modern Farmhouse” style, or just the joy and unpredictability that made the day so fun to be a part of… I loved every minute of being their photographer, and I can’t wait to see these two take on the world as one!

Just after they cut their cake… the DJ offered donuts to the guests… but B+A just started throwing donuts to everyone. My second shooter and I just looked at each other and laughed, “WHAT IS HAPPENING.”

Can’t beat late night s’mores and a cigar bar!
