Oh how I’ve been looking forward to this day! I’d been crossing my fingers for an inquiry to book for Big Spring Farm in Lexington, VA, but when Jane and I spoke on the phone for the first time, it was way more than the venue that had me so excited. Jane and Red’s love story is the sweetest – from beginning to end. They are high school sweethearts who love their family and are fiercely dedicated to the people in their lives. Getting to spend time with them during their Maury River engagement session, I found they really trusted me, and that carried over into their wedding day. Their wedding day was perfect. We were ahead of schedule [which, let me tell you, rarely happens!], they were so relaxed, the weather was a mild 80 with a breeze blowing over the spring, and the impeccable team of vendors made everything so easy and beautiful for me. I cried at pretty much everything – the sweet father-daughter first look and dance, and even when Red’s dad jumped on the dance floor during his favorite song. Loved being a part of this day, and I’m so happy to share!
