I try to get photographed at least once a year to remind myself what it’s like. I find I can better relate to my clients if I, too, have a “What should I wear” crisis, and a, “I’m so nervous!” chat with my husband before the session. For our 5 year anniversary, I wanted this session to be extra special. We’d be in Maui, for goodness sake. When choosing a photographer, I wanted it to be really creative and beautiful and film and amazing. How do you find someone like that?! Let me tell you, folks. I never thought I’d email a photographer I’ve never heard of using this sentence: “I found you on instagram.” But I fell in love with Wendy’s work as soon as I found her feed, followed her for a few weeks, and reached out. She is a true artist and delivered images I will hang all over my house as cherished art. Enjoy a few of my favorites!!
