Katie and I talked on the phone about their session and she decided she really wanted it to be in DC! Immediately, I pictured monuments. Most people go for monuments – and they’re great. They usually put off really pretty light and are so iconic. Katie talked about Georgetown and maybe by the Potomac? Well, I arrived and they had a new plan. Still DC, but a part of DC I’d never seen! I kept saying, “I can’t believe I lived here and never saw this!” So, this isn’t your typical DC session. There are no monuments, but some places and LEAVES and colors you’d never expect to come out of our capitol. I’m so happy to post these, and stoked about this couple’s wedding next year!
