When I first met these two, I thought, “When they get engaged, I hope I can shoot their wedding!” So when I got an email from Melissa, I was so SO excited and was just hoping they’d book me. Melissa and Jonathan are both JMU grads, and are just a few years younger than I am. All three of us were really active in JMU’s Intervarsity Chapter so I knew we had a lot in common. Well, they booked, and we set out for the University of Richmond campus and a nearby park for their engagement photos. It was just as the leaves were beginning to change and it was so colorful. I love how they incorporated some fall staples – sweaters, plaid, of course, and boots!! I’m really excited for their wedding next year and am thrilled to share some images with you!
