500 miles north of Richmond is a town called New Haven. Two photographers, Amanda and Stephanie, and I have driven up here from good ol’ Virginia yesterday. We passed through DC, swung around Philly and Wilmington, and got stuck in NYC traffic, but we finally arrived at our home for the few days we’re here. We took last night to relax, grabbed some appetizers from Chili’s and talked about what the next few days hold.

We’re here to attend a workshop put on by some of our favorite photographers along with 15 other photographers and let me tell you, although I’m excited, the first word that comes to mind is INTIMIDATING! But the cool thing is that we’re all here to learn. To be an open book, to be poured into, and to hopefully give a little of ourselves to others in return.
