Jimmy and Amira had a crazy idea.ย They wanted to book an engagement shoot – but they wanted to do it differently than… anyone. They liked the shots in fields, and in the city, but they wanted something more commercial feeling, rather than fine art, photojournalistic, or editorial. I jumped on this chance. So we started sharing inspiration photos. We had Ryan from BLEND come and do Amira’s make up – she is amazing, y’all! And I booked a studio and had an old friend, Mark, come and assist me since it had been a while since I’d been in the studio. I couldn’t have done it without him! Literally – large soft boxes are HARD to put together by yourself!
Anyway, we set up, popped the light to test it a few times and shot for while before it was time to break down. Needless to say, I’m STOKED at the results and would LOVE to do this again.
