It’s been about a month since we moved. I can’t believe it! None of my inside of my house is blog worthy right now, but we’re working on it. So, I thought I’d share the outside of our house! I never thought I’d ever own a ranch. I wanted a cute colonial or something that resembled the southern style home with a big ol’ porch. But this house just spoke to us.
Just kidding.
We really were not impressed with the house online – I’m totally judgmental about the photography, and the house wasn’t represented with stellar photos. But the description was intriguing and so we went to check it out. Speaking just to the exterior, we were impressed with the space. Although the backyard isn’t huge at all, it’s private, it’s well landscaped, and there is a SCREENED IN PORCH!! That was on my wishlist! I love the variety of bushes [excited about the hydrangeas – I can’t wait to see what color they are!]. The front yard is cute, and big enough to say we have a yard. The funny shaped bushes and how to deal with those is still to be determined. All in all, I love our house. If you have suggestions as to how to make it “our own,” feel free to comment! I’m excited to see it in bloom, and may post spring photos… hang in there, y’all! First time homeowners here 😉

love it! so fun learning how to make it yours! We had large bushes and dug two of the 3 up! our house looks totally different because of it! It will all come to you and you will love it and change it regularly! We have been in ours 2 years and we are still moving changing and reorganizing every day 🙂 Happy Homeownership!
it look so nice, Ali!! I can’t wait to see it in person… we’ll have to plan a weekend. I know you’re having so much fun settling into it!
