I am so excited to write this post.  Mainly because I get to decompress all of my thoughts about this HUGE conference and trade show.  I mean, I met so many great people, heard so many wonderful and inspiring speakers, and learned some pivotal things. Just FYI, these are all iPhone images.

Decompression time.  I learned tons about myself, and the way I run business.  I plan to make some crazy changes to implement come 2012.  Some of the speakers I heard were pure inspiration. Others were practical how-to.  One of the first things I need to revisit in my business is pricing and PACKAGES.  I heard so many ways of what is the “right” way, but I am excited to sit down and break down those ideas and make them work for me.  Mike Larson encouraged everyone to provide a better SERVICE to clients.  The truth is, I am here to serve the brides who hire me.  I want to submit to that responsibility the best I can! One of the ways I’d love to do that is with EDUCATION. My world is saturated with knowledge of the wedding photography industry, but just because someone is planning a wedding doesn’t means she gains clarity and “know-how” when it comes to wedding photography.  I realized I want to improve my PRESENTATION.  From e-mails and albums to branding and web presence. I’m excited to work on presentation over the next year.  And last, PRODUCT.  Guess what!  I found an album company! AND I plan to offer some other neat things… I can’t wait to share more!
