I figured now would be an appropriate time to confess my undying desire for a puppy. In the past two nights, I’ve had THREE dreams about having puppies. In two of them, I have three little ones, and one dream, I had a baby lab. I die. Before you scold me and tell me how much work they are and how they’re basically like a child and how my life will change… let me just say… I KNOW. I’ve been thinking about having a puppy since I was old enough to love animals which was probably when I began thinking. And I’ve gone through every scenario mentally with a dog. “If we had a dog, we wouldn’t be able to do this.” “If we had a dog, we’d be able to take them with us.” “I wonder if our dog will be car sick?” “Do you think they allow dogs?” “Good thing we don’t have a dog.” “I wish we had a dog.”
I grew up in a family of working parents and I rode horses – aka – we were never home. Having a dog is just silly if you’re never home to play with or care for it. So, here I am now, working from home and know that is a good situation for a new pup to come into, but Chad and I recognize how much we love our freedom. We love to visit our families on a whim and we don’t want to burned our friends with a dog to watch. So, all that to say, I’ve still always wanted a dog. I’d go to horse shows on Sundays and without fail, there’d be a pen of puppies right next to the show ring. I’d never be able to walk past without holding one. Torture, I tell you.

Ali you should get a dog! Their happy little faces are worth every bit of work and it is so much easier then you think!
Oh my gosh that puppy is adorable!! I feel you on the animals thing lady!! From about our first date, I always begged Matt to buy me a puppy!! Now we have a dog and a cat, and even though it’s a full house, we’re still thinking about adding more little furry babies haha!! You can always come visit my puppy if you need a puppy fix in the meantime though!! 🙂
