Driving into DC is always an experience. You never know if the traffic will be crazy or if it will take you only 20 minutes. Arriving with 30 minutes to spare, I had enough time to sit an enjoy the afternoon before Beth and Garrett’s session. And it was just what I needed. We met in front of the Capitol and I was so inspired by all of that white! Plus, shooting in a city makes for some awesome bouncy, glowy light as well. It had rained that morning which must have scared the tourists away because the Capitol was abandoned. Perfect for our portrait session. We had a great time shooting around their stomping grounds, ending the session where Garrett proposed, Pound. These two are getting married in July and I can’t wait!
