A couple of weekends ago I spent some time with David and Taryn in DC for their engagement session! After a rogue frost delayed the peak bloom of the cherry blossoms, this sweet couple drove around DC looking for other options for our shoot. Taryn’s dad works in the city, and he deserves a shout out because of his help in keeping us up to date with parking options and bloom reports. Once we made a decision, we had the prettiest sunrise session. The monuments in DC are second best to NONE. It turns out, David was actually going to propose at the Lincoln… he ended up delaying his plans, but I’m so glad we got to shoot here! Their flexibility and optimism made this shoot just beyond awesome, and I know their wedding later this year is going to be the best!
These are stunning! It’s like you had all of DC just to yourselves!
