Over the past few months, I’ve had a few days where I’d be home by myself for a few days. One of those days, I decided to stay up late executing a brilliant idea – a DIY backdrop. Three days and two trips to Lowes later, I had what I set out to make. Just a few days ago, my gorgeous intern Cam helped me experiment with my hand painted backdrop.
Our goal was to shoot all natural light, but the day we planned the shoot, it rained so there was not enough light in the studio aka my living room. But we improvised and I tried my hand at using my speedlites as the light source! Although I have some changes I’d like to make in the backdrop, I’m so excited at how these images turned out – here are just a few from our time!
GORGEOUS!!!
Beautiful pictures! She does look like something out of Vogue.
