Another great year for the books. I love seeing what my friends and fellow photographers share in their outtakes, so I figured it would be fun to share some of my moments from 2014. It’s crazy to look at these photos and know exactly what photo I was taking during that moment and to feel the stress and excitement all over again. [It’s also crazy to see how my outfits photograph… hmm… rethinking my wardrobe for the spring…]

I want to take this moment and send a loud and proud thank you to my second shooters from this year.

You guys stood by me when ridiculous things happened. Longer than expected days, stressed out brides, upset timelines. But also when we had really normal wedding stuff. And that’s when I appreciate y’all’s go getter attitude. Thank you also for these images of me doing my job. I don’t get to see myself work – but I love having these moments of me smiling and interacting with my clients. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

to photograph this destination wedding for Katie and Justin.

I am on the move in this photo. I frequently want my clients to be moving
which sometimes means I’m walking and shooting. I haven’t fallen down yet, but I know that’s coming…
