As I drove the same roads I’ve driven for most of my life, I just felt at ease. Towns like Bealton, Catlett, Calverton, and Warrenton mean to much to me. It’s the farmland of Fauquier County. Horse Country. My childhood days were spend riding just a few miles from where Steph and Kenny call home. Stephanie’s family has farmed this land for over 100 years. What a better place to mark your engagement than that?
So that’s what we did. I’m pretty stoked to shoot their wedding, although it’s almost a year away. I LOVE this couple. We laughed, pet all of the farm cats, visited the cows, and photographed our butts off. I gave little to no direction because Steph, a photographer herself, is SO natural in front of the camera. THEY ROCKED IT.
This is my friend. I kind of wanted to take him home with me.
Steph is a really great field frolic-er. Yes. That’s a thing.
How cute is this? Kenny is a fireman so we had to break out the gear…
LOVE this wall. Great find, y’all!
