Virginia Beach portrait and lifestyle photographer specializing in comfortable portraits and candids
After 3 days off, I feel the pressure to produce. Sad story is this: it is bitter cold and cloudy outside, and all of my fabulous ideas are wrapped in 55 degrees or higher with sun. So, I decided to venture to a shoot from about a year ago with a *cool, darker* feel to it. This post is PURE FUN. I have no hidden motives; no secret deep desire to rock out a fog machine or brides in all black; just wanted to throw something out there that is a little different and… fun!
Just last year, which seems so long ago, I was enrolled at Boston University Center for the Digital Imaging Arts. A class a week. 25 weeks. It is a school that teaches you how to use tools. LOTS of tools. Cameras, stobes, hot lights, lenses, *ehem* fog machines, models, backdrops, booms, lightroom, photoshop, final cut pro… you know it, but what will you do with it? That is CDIA.
Our *Working with Models* instructor, Sonny Senser, invited us out on a location shoot. I dug up these images and spent some time today editing. It is really fun to look back on photos that I ignored then, and LOVE now…
Thanks to the very beautiful models/photographers, Jacqueline and Caroline.
