A Colonial Williamsburg engagement session. Meeting couples like Rita and Patrick give me an extra boost of inspiration. They are sweet to each other, sweet to me, and such a fun couple to be around! Rita has impeccable style and is truly a classic beauty inside and out. Patrick adores her and he has the best spirit about him. And with all of that, I knew our session would be SO enjoyable. We started at their old stomping grounds at William and Mary. They went to the same church, and Patrick saw her walk into church one day and broke away from his prayer group to ask her on a date. She said yes and after dating for a while, they got engaged at the same church… and at the beginning of January, got married in that very sanctuary! They both value their spiritual walks with the Lord, and I love how that has been a huge part of their relationship.
We walked through Colonial Williamsburg and ended our session at their wedding venue, the Williamsburg Inn. We shot well into the evening, a few minutes past sunset, because I just couldn’t stop myself! You have to see her second look! That white dress is a show stopper and could grace the cover of a vintage magazine. And her ring shot is one of my new favorites, as well! Enjoy this session, and be sure to click over to their wedding post!
