Virginia Beach portrait and lifestyle photographer specializing in comfortable portraits and candids
Rita and Patrick defied all odds and got married last weekend. They cerebrated with a brunch wedding at the Williamsburg Inn. With the governor’s restrictions in place, they found ways to make the day safe for everyone involved without sacrificing their vision.
Their ceremony mass came early, allowing them to have a beautiful brunch reception at The Williamsburg Inn. They followed that with an afternoon carriage ride around Colonial Williamsburg and sunset couples portraits. I loved all of the emerald and gold details throughout the day, especially the bridesmaid dresses, and the clean whites and greens in the florals. I even loved the simplicity of the reception. Because of COVID, they forwent dancing, but Rita’s dad gave the most beautiful toast. Quoting Pride and Prejudice and referencing the Washington Nationals all in the same speech – amazing.
With the sweetest spirits in Rita and Patrick and a little planning magic from the Inn’s coordinator, Yuani, it really was one of my favorite weddings! The Williamsburg Inn provided Coordination, Cake, Catering, the Carriage transportation, and Florals [Lindsay Codekas].
