The only other time I’ve photographed a wedding at the Marriott Ranch, it was SO magical. Like, literally double rainbows involved. I knew coming in that this place had all of the ingredients for another amazing wedding day. Silvia gave me a big hug when I arrived, and I could sense the excitement in the bridal suite. She didn’t even think this day was in her future, laughing at her friend and fellow marine who predicted Silvia would marry a Captain… well, her friend and maid of honor got to say, “I told you so!” in front of all of their favorite people! Silvia planned the COOLEST wedding with so much style and unique touches. It was lightly vintage themed, so you could feel the 1920’s in all of the details. Like walking into a speakeasy. On top of all of that, these two hired dance instructors to teach their guests how to Lindy Hop and encouraged the flapper look. My favorite part was when Cory and Silvia spontaneously decided to practice their first dance just them and their incredible band. Such a special moment with the sun sparkling off of Silvia’s reception dress and Cory’s green velvet suit! Scroll down for this amazing wedding day.
