I’m always excited when my brides decide they want to do a bridal session. I think there is something awesome – in the truest sense of the word – about the tradition of bridal portraits. Arriving on your wedding day and having a portrait framed at cocktail hour or even just for mom to hang in her home is something I find honors the generations of women in your family. As a little girl, I loved walking into my parents room and seeing my mom’s bridal portrait hanging. It sparked conversations about their wedding day, their wedding attire, the butterflies, and reminded me just how beautiful my mama really is.
