Maui is by far our favorite place on the planet. For Chad’s 30th birthday, we invited some of his closest friends and their wives to to come with us HAWAII! We spent all of our time exploring. Hiking, finding waterfalls, snorkeling, surfing, swimming, whale watching… In the end, we left approximately 34 minutes for our Maui couples portrait session. Whoops! But I think we still got some incredible photos for these sweet people, even if it turned into a 10 minute mini session – HA!

So meet our people. This is Bobby and Trish. Bobby was the only person who had to approve of me when Chad and I started dating. They’ve known each other for almost their entire lives. They’ve been a constant support for one another through joyful times and through loss.

Emma and KJ have been our close friends for years. They came with us a past trip to Hawaii and it was great to get to share this experience with them again! Chad was KJ’s small group leader at JMU and has always felt more like a brother to Chad. We all share weekly, late night FaceTime chats debriefing youth group or some random ridiculous story.

Jordan and Sam. LOVE these two. Chad and Sam co-lead our bible study when we lived in Richmond, and these two were our first close friends when we moved to Richmond! We lived in the same apartment complex and would have pool days, make dinner together, watch Bachelor together… we’re basically family.
