I remember the first time I walked into Katie and Allen’s home. It was like I had stepped into a Southern Living magazine. Not only because of how it was decorated, but because of how hospitable they were – asking me if I wanted a drink or if I needed anything. We sort of knew each other, but because of our joining their Supper Club, we got to know them even better! Katie and Allen are two true old souls. They type of people who are wise and interesting without trying. I was so honored to be able to photograph such a special season in their life as they celebrate their 4th anniversary. Allen made cocktails, they snuggled on the couch, and they got to get dressed up for an outing where they cut their cake topper and danced through sunset. Sounds romantic, right? Well, it was!
