Salamander Resort and Spa has been a favorite place for Kara and Marc since their relationship began. They spent a lot of time here as they were getting to know each other, Marc then proposed here, and now they’ve gotten married here! It’s a special place for me as I’m such a “horse girl” – it makes me so happy to drive out to Virginia horse country for any reason. Getting to know them during their engagement was such a pleasure. I learned that both of them are amazing athletes. Kara runs a 2:50 marathon, and Marc runs ultra marathons… like, more than one. They are ambitious and dedicated, and have 7 awesome kiddo’s between the two of them! Enjoy these snippets from their wedding day!
