On the first day of the year, Erica and Joe met me in downtown Fredericksburg for their wintery engagement session. You may remember when I photographed a small portion of my friend Jen’s wedding day! Well, Erica is her sister! We basically grew up together – many, many trips back and forth to the barn where we rode our ponies, and always stopping at Klines for french fries and ice cream. Erica has always been free spirited, never putting up a fuss about any boy she dated. Until Joe. I met Joe once before the session, and I remember thinking, “I like this guy.” And he’s a Marine, so what’s not to like!? They have a fairly short engagement and will be my first wedding of 2016! I’m excited to kick of the year with friends, and really can’t wait!
