We left Hana and checked into our resort in Wailea! Wailea is so different, in every way from Hana, so it almost felt like a different vacation. We were around all of the stores and restaurants and conveniences we could ask for. This is my third, and last post of our vacation and I’m a little sad! Enjoy these film images from our more touristy side of our vacation!

Our room overlooked this little garden section of the resort. It’s called the Chapel wing because it looks right at the “church” structure they have on grounds. Talk about a perfect wedding!

One day, us crazies woke up at 2:30 in the morning so we could watch the sunrise from Haleakala. I couldn’t believe how many people came for the show! After the sun came up, we hopped on bikes and biked the 27 miles back down! It only took us about 2 hours [with a stop for pancakes at the Kula Lodge].

This is Big Beach in Makena. The shore break here was insane. The life guard would get on their megaphones and say, “I hope you know what you’re doing. There have been some broken backs here.” Needless to say, I did not go in…
Ka’anapali is such a fun area! Lots of shopping and restaurants. Chad finally got to climb and jump off of Black Rock! It’s not the tallest he’s jumped from, but he still had to do it!
