Katie and Brian said their vows this past weekend at Castle Hill Cider right outside of Charlottesville, Virginia. It is my favorite place to shoot because the mountains, the farmland, and the small town southern feel all mesh together so cohesively. Katie, as reiterated by her maid of honor, has the gift of encouragement. She is quick to complement, and she means it. I love people who are willing to verbalize all they’re thankful for in their friends. So, with a spirit of thankfulness, she married her best friend Brian. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Katie asked if her Bridesmaids could come out with her for her first look. The emotions were running high and she wanted them there to help lift her dress spirits. My favorite image is of her laughing so freely during what is always such an emotional meeting! Anyway, enjoy these few favorites!
