Let’s be honest. Being in front of the camera is weird. Speaking from experience, you’re suddenly super aware of what your body is doing and it makes you a little clammy. But give it 15 minutes and I promise you’ll warm up. So when clients vocalize that it’s weird being photographed, that they are a little nervous, or anything along those lines, I actually get excited. I’ve found that clients who are on the nervous end put their full trust in my direction and experience in posing. Brittany and Matt were SAID they were nervous, but acted as if I wasn’t around. The ideal couple, really. I feel like they really allowed their true emotion to come out and I was there just to capture it. We met at the VMFA, where Matt proposed, and photographed all over! It’s such a beautiful location with lots of great options and these two really rocked their session, making me even MORE excited about shooting their wedding!
