Eh-LEH-knee // Greek
Meaning: Sun ray, or shining light.

I arrived at Eleni’s home and her, her mom and I hopped into their Jeep and made our way down to the family’s river home. I never really thought, “Oh man, this long car ride could be pretty awkward,” but I guess it could have been. You know high schoolers “these days” – noses in their phones… Whatever. It was awesome! I mean, look out, world. That is really all I can say. This girl is one of the coolest high schooler’s I’ve met since I left PHS in 2004. She’s so engaging and her and her momma both are so fun to talk to. We arrived and I thought I’d pulled into photographer’s heaven. I love any shoot by water, beautiful country homes, and subjects with a killer fashion sense. And that’s what was placed in front of my lens a few days ago. But besides that, I got to experience yet another family and their love for each other and their sweet hospitable attitude, making me feel served and desire even more to serve them. I hope you enjoy Eleni’s senior portraits as much as we loved taking them! She is a gorgeous girl outside, but especially inside. Eleni, I wish you the BEST!
