Today is the kind of day you just want to sleep in but know that you can’t. So instead of going on and on about what I was up to this week [I’m saving that for a time when I have the opportunity to process a little!], I want to show you some of the film fun from hawaii.
I brought the Olympus my dad bought in the 80’s when he earned some money snow plowing. It’s old and nothing special at all, but I love the images I received back. Mainly because there is actually an exposure to see. I had some technical issues with the camera and realized that the light meter was, well, wrong. Then the film got stuck when I was winding it, so I had to rip it out of the camera and tear off the broken edge. So I just KNEW I’d send off the images and have all white images and the lab would think I was crazy. And honestly, some images were terrible, but some were not. So on this snowy/icy/rainy cold Friday, take time and relax with Hawaii.
