Last time I went on vacation with a camera, it was to Charleston. I took 4 blog posts to complete it. People probably thought I was obsessed. They’d be right. So when my parents invited Chad and I on their vacation, I thought. “A week’s worth of blog posts…people are going to hate me.” So, I’ve squished them all into one, gallery style.

Hawaii had been a favorite spot. Last time I went, it was with a best friend and we had an UNBELIEVABLE experience. We met world renown surfers and body surfers, saw millions of shooting stars, and went Christmas caroling with Jack Johnson. The thought came to mind, “How will I ever come back here without expectations?!” So I retired Hawaii in my mind. I felt I had “accomplished” it. Well, I went back to Hawaii for the first time in 7 years! Maui, to be exact, and let me tell you – Holy wonderful.

We did touristy things. We drove the Road to Hana. Visited a black sand beach. Went inside a cave. Chad swam under a waterfall. We went snorkeling at Molokini. We ate hotel buffet breakfasts. We bought Hawaiian shaved ice and “HI” t-shirts. It was such a fun trip. Neither restful nor stressful. We came back tired, but full. And with a ton of images from my little Fuji! Here are some views!
