I’m writing this post from my kitchen table with the smell of apple pie swirling around my house. I thought I’d tell you because apple pies are something that is friendly and familiar. In a funny way, Eleanor and Mitch are like apple pie. The perfect combination of sweet and sass. They are timeless. You’ll see what I mean. Anyway, I usually post weddings on Tuesdays. And I post them the Tuesday after the wedding. I’ve let a week and a day go by, and I’m finally ready to share this amazing wedding.

I met Eleanor on the day of her wedding, but I knew I would love her because of our correspondence throughout her year of planning. Eleanor’s beautiful wedding took place at Morrison House. It was a cool little inn right off King Street in Alexandria, and everyone who worked there was so nice! She pulled off her theme, a French Garden Party, without a hitch – DIY details EVERYWHERE. Lots of green and white, monograms, topiaries, lavender, moss, and hand made pillows to add some comfort. By now, the couple is back from their honeymoon, but I seriously wish them the best! They SO deserve it! [ps. once you scroll all the way down, do pay mind to the amazing vendors who helped out with this wedding!]
